In this session Roslyn will review recent industry news as case studies and demonstrate the relevance for prospect researchers. Topics include big bets gone bad, how partners are protected, and how to estimate the value of ownership stakes. The material is related to a previous APRA presentation (Investment Advisers: Where to Find Financial Info & How to Make Sense of It All) and will begin with a brief primer on the three partnership entities common at hedge funds, private equity, and venture capital firms.
